About Me
Back to the Basics
I am a Korean-American architect. I grew up in the town of Lincoln Nebraska, and In 2011, I moved to Chicago to start my undergraduate degree in architecture. I live in the North Center neighborhood of Chicago, and in my free time I enjoy playing tennis and watching historical docu-dramas.
Since finishing my undergraduate degree at Illinois Institute of Technology in 2016, I have gravitated towards architecture that, above all things, focuses on the simplicity and beauty of experiencing a well designed space. Whether it be a lively restaurant on a busy downtown street, or an intimate single family home, the human experience makes a project truly special.

As architects, we have the privilage of designing the environment around us, and I believe that it is our duty to provide intentional, functional, and beautiful design for everyone.
I have spent the last 6 years working at multiple esteemed design firms, as well as embarking on my own freelance project. Please take a look at my selected works for more information.
